South Coast Hand Therapy is a team of registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with many years experience in treating hands.
All therapists are members of the Australian Hand Therapy Association and have or are working towards additional qualifications as Accredited Hand Therapist (AHTA) or Certified Hand Therapist (USA)

Jacqueline ChevisJacquie is an Occupational Therapist/ Accredited Hand Therapist who has worked in hand therapy in her native Canada and in Australia. During a trip to NZ in the 80’s a nice Australian boy convinced her to settle in Wollongong. Her work experience includes 15 years OT and hand therapy at the Wollongong Hospital and since 2009, specializing in hand therapy at South Coast Hand Therapy. Jacquie has many interests including bushwalking, going to live theatre and sharing a meal with her neighbours

Nicole Ekman Nicole is a Physiotherapist/ Accredited Hand Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist who realised her passion for hand therapy whilst working in Sydney for many years prior to making her “sea change” and joining the team at South Coast Hand Therapy in 2006. Nicole is a keen Netballer who loves the outdoors.

Rachael HallRachael is a Physiotherapist and Certified Hand Therapist who grew up in Orange and spent time in the USA prior to becoming a Physiotherapist in 2015. After working hospital rotations in Hand Therapy in Sydney she was instantly hooked. Rachael works in hands in both the public and private sectors, joining the team at South Coast Hand Therapy in 2021. Rachael completed the Hand Therapy Certification Exam in 2021 and is an Associate Member of the AHTA. In her spare time Rachael enjoys hiking, op shopping and the adventure of life on the coast.

Emma NguyenEmma is an Occupational Therapist from Perth and completed her studies at Curtin University in 2024. She discovered her passion for Hand Therapy during her time at university and this led her to the Illawarra to join South Coast Hand Therapy. Emma enjoys visiting the beach, exploring new restaurants, and travelling.
