Do I need a referral from a Doctor?
If you plan to claim any of your costs for treatment it is important to have a referral from your doctor
However, you are welcome to see us without a referral as a private patient.

PRIVATE PATIENT
If you are a PRIVATE PATIENT you can make an appointment and pay for your own treatment. If you have extras insurance cover for Physiotherapy or Occupational therapy you can claim the rebate for your treatment on the day of your appointment, just remember to bring your Private Health Insurance card with you. Contact us for current consultation fees. We also offer a discount on our treatments to pension card holders. |
WORKERS COMP/MOTOR VEHICLE CLAIM
If you plan to see us under an insurance claim such as WORKERS COMPENSATION or MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT (CTP) you will need a referral from your doctor. Simply provide us with you claim number so we can bill the insurer directly. We will work collaboratively with your doctor, other health professionals, rehab provider, employer and insurer to get you back to work as soon as possible. |
EPC, DVA & NDIS
We can also see you if you have an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan, or you are covered by Veterans Affairs (DVA) or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Please mention this when making your appointment. As we are a private practice there may be a small gap for your treatment and you may also have to pay for any extras such as splints, medical dressings and exercise equipment. |
